£ 150,000 in welfare funding now available for Trafford community groups
Community groups, schools and charities are among the organizations invited to apply for a share of £ 150,000 in funding to help improve the well-being of Trafford residents.
Launched this week, the Wellness Grants Program is funded by money donated by Trafford Council (TMBC) and collected by the Trafford Crisis Fund, which is managed by Trafford Housing Trust and TMBC.
It is open to organizations that can help vulnerable or disadvantaged people of all ages live independently, empower residents to better manage their mental health and improve their physical health, as well as young people and groups that contribute to increase social interaction.
