2015 Alfa Romeo 4C US-Spec Launch Edition Mega Gallery! – News – Car and Driver
More than a year ago, Alfa Romeo declared its imminent return to the American market and detailed the 500 launch edition The 4C sports cars that would land first. It took a little longer than expected, but since Alfa is actually for real coming here later this summer, we thought we’d revisit the launch edition. We recently spent some time with one of these US specs – the handful of photos that accompanied the ad were of European market cars – so we took some fresh shots.
To recap, the Launch Edition goes on sale before the regular 4C hits dealerships and costs $69,695. That’s a bit more than the $55,195 base model, but the car packs a slew of otherwise optional equipment as standard.
Launch editions have a unique front fascia; the Track package with reinforced suspension and a special exhaust; bi-xenon headlights with LED position lights; carbon fiber spoiler and mirror caps; red brake calipers; 18-inch front wheels and 19-inch rear wheels in matte black forged aluminum; sports seats; leather-wrapped dashboard and door panels; red or white decorative seams; carbon fiber interior trim; and a fancy Launch Edition plate. A plate! Check it all out in the gallery below:
