BAHAMAS RELAX PROTOCOLS AS COVID CASES DROP
“It is important to remain fluid and to adapt our protocols to reflect a changing environment,” said the Acting Prime Minister, the Honorable I. Chester Cooper, Bahamian Minister of Tourism, Investments and Aviation, “and we are happy to be able to eliminate the Bahamian’ testing requirements.”
Our visitors are required to follow prescribed entry protocols, including applying for a Bahamas Travel Health Visa at travel.gov.bs and upload their pre-departure test results, taken no later than three days (72 hours) before the arrival date. Visitors must visit Bahamas.com/travelupdates review accepted test forms for entry based on vaccination status. An island-by-island list of approved test sites is available at Bahamas.com/travelupdates.
“Despite the challenges of Covid-19, the strong desire to travel to The Bahamian has not diminished,” said Latia Duncombe, Acting Director General, Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Investments and Aviation. “We remain positioned for a steady recovery in tourism, and we will continue to help make travel-related requirements efficient for our beloved visitors, while protecting everyone’s health and safety.”
