—L Ron Hubbard

SACRAMENTO, California, USA, June 23, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ — Highlighting community service and the precepts of The Way to Happiness, the Church of Scientology of Sacramento has opened its doors to the public and parishioners.

The Way to Happiness is a non-religious common sense guide to better living written by L Ron Hubbard. The booklet contains 21 precepts covering daily conduct such as: “Honor and help your parents”, “Love and help children” and “Be trustworthy”. The focus of this event was the precept “Setting a good example”.

Special guest speaker Sharon Wright, president of the Robla Park Community Association, spoke about her involvement in community projects such as the National Night Out event held annually at Robla Community Park and joint cleanups with the local chapter Way to Happiness and the popularity of the booklet and its 21 precepts.

The Church’s local public affairs director presented video excerpts from The Way to Happiness video and public service announcements emphasizing “Set a good example” and spoke about a book chapter covering the virtues of treatment others with fairness, loyalty, forgiveness, politeness, dignity, admiration, and a dozen other positive attributes. Thus embodying this quote from author L Ron Hubbard; “It’s a path to a much safer and happier life for you and others.”

The event ended with a call to all participants to take time and contribute to activities that put these precepts into action in the community.
