Haryana Home Secretary Anil Vij Says Easing Lockdown Cannot Be Granted Until COVID Positivity Is Below 5%

Haryana Home Secretary Anil Vij said the state’s COVID positivity rate to date has been around 9%. He added that the easing cannot be granted to the state’s population until it is less than 5 percent.
Sh. Vij said traders were allowed to open stores between 7 a.m. and 12 p.m. under the odd-numbered rule from today. He said there was a full foreclosure in the business. ‘Uttar Pradesh and other neighboring states, including Delhi, but the government of Haryana has relaxed the appeal of the people a bit.
The health minister expressed deep concern over the upsurge in black fungus cases in Haryana and said the shortage of injections was being overcome. He said the government received 550 vials 2 days ago and previously arranged 600 vials. He hopes injections will be available soon. He said the opposition parties’ support for Samyukt Kisan Morcha’s protest clearly reflected their negative policies. He said that given the current pandemic situation, opposition parties should motivate farmers to get vaccinated.
