Iredell Health System Welcomes New Cardiologist to Statesville Cardiovascular Clinic | Iredell Health System

Iredell Health System, in partnership with the Iredell Physician Network, is pleased to welcome Deepak Joshi, MD, to the Statesville Cardiovascular Clinic.
Joshi is a board-certified cardiologist who has been practicing medicine since 2006 and has spent the past six years in cardiology. He chose to practice cardiology because his family has a long history of heart disease and he finds the specialty both rewarding and exciting.
He believes in a compassionate and caring approach to medical care and greets his patients with a friendly face, a listening ear and a caring heart.
“My goal is to educate, engage and empower patients to have a positive impact on their health,” Joshi said.
Joshi received his medical degree from the College of Medical Sciences, Kathmandu University, located in Nepal, before completing his residency in internal medicine at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He completed his fellowship in cardiology at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina.
He is certified in general cardiology, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.
When not treating patients, Joshi enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters and is an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys running, skiing and hiking. Besides English, Joshi is also fluent in Nepali and Hindi.
Her favorite health tips are to stay active, minimize emotional stress, and diversify your plate.
Joshi will practice at the Statesville Cardiovascular Clinic, located at 738 Bryant Street, Suite A, Statesville. If you would like to make an appointment with Dr. Joshi, please call 704-873-1189.
