Pakistani singer wins her first Grammy Award and expresses her joy

Pakistani singer Arooj Aftab made history at the 64th Grammy Awards. Arooj has become the first Pakistani actress to win a Grammy Award. Arooj Aftab was awarded in the Best World Musical Performance category for her song Mohabbat.
Arooj won his first Grammy: Grammy, one of Hollywood’s most prestigious music awards. Arooj Aftab was also nominated in the Best New Artist category. The Grammys tweeted from their official Twitter account and shared the news with everyone and wrote, “Arooj Aftab’s song ‘Mohabbat’ won the Grammy Award for Best World Music Performance 2022. Aftab is the first female Pakistani singer to win a Grammy Award. She is also nominated in the Best New Artist category.”
After winning the award, Arooj Aftab expressed his joy and said, “I think I’m going to pass out. Wow, thank you so much. I think the category itself is going to get really crazy. It also includes names like Barna Boy, Wisquid, Femi Kuti and Angelique Kidzo.” Continuing her speech, she said, “I made (my record) out of all the things that broke me and then completely added me. Thank you for listening to it and making it yours.”
