Taguig sets up a “relaxation” vaccination center for seniors
MANILA, Philippines – The Taguig city government has set up a “relaxation” COVID-19 vaccination center only for the city’s elderly.
The vaccination site located in the new Taguig Trade Center offers comfortable seating like sofas, “comfy” chairs with tables and other “senior-friendly” equipment, according to a social media post by Thursday. the city information office.

The initiative aims to encourage older people in the city to get vaccinated against COVID-19 because they are more vulnerable to the coronavirus.
According to the Taguig city government, elderly residents will need to make an appointment at trace.taguig.gov.ph or at barangay room kiosks to get vaccinated at the site.
The city government had previously deployed doctors and nurses to immunize bedridden residents in Taguig, mostly elderly people, as part of its home vaccination program.
